Continuing progress toward elevating women’s voices in national Israeli policy, Israeli Minister of Finance Yair Lapid announced this week that he has named Professor Hanna Herzog to a panel that will study gender inequality in the national budget. Herzog, who will be the academic representative on the task force, also serves as chairperson of the NCJW Women and Gender Studies Program at Tel Aviv University, a program of the National Council of Jewish Women.
