The American Technion Society (ATS), a New York City-based fundraising organization that provides critical support for the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, has announced three key high-level executive promotions, effective immediately.
Tova Kantrowitz was made Associate Vice President/Communications and Public Relations, Irma Sarisohn was made Vice President/Programs, Mark Hefter was made Associate Vice President/Planned Giving.
Ms. Kantrowitz, who had been Director of Communications & Public Relations, has navigated the ATS through seminal changes in the field of communications in recent years. Ms. Sarisohn was promoted from her former position as Associate Vice President of Programs, in recognition of her vital role in bringing ATS supporters to the Technion campus. Mr. Hefter, who had been Director of Planned Giving, has been responsible directly and indirectly for a major share of the ATS fundraising results.
The Technion is Israel’s premier science and technology university, and a major factor in the success of Israel’s high-tech economy.
