Jewish Federations General Assembly in Jerusalem will feature Netanyahu, Bennett, Lapid
Conference to take place November 10-12 at the International Convention Center
New York – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Minister of the Economy Naftali Bennett, Finance Minister Yair Lapid, and Knesset Members Stav Shafir and Ifat Kariv will headline the Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly next month in Jerusalem.
The three-day conference will build a dialogue around critical current issues, from social justice to religious pluralism, to the evolving Israel-diaspora dynamic.
The GA will feature leaders in business, philanthropy, and public life, such as Ofra Strauss, chairperson of the multinational Strauss Group; Joanne Landau, founder of Kinetis, an educational organization working to reposition Israel on the global stage; and Jay Ruderman of the Ruderman Family Foundation, which promotes disability inclusion in the Jewish community and fosters understanding among Israeli leaders of American Jewry.
Participants will also hear from Lior Zoref, a crowd wisdom expert and TED Talks guest; Daniel Birnbaum, CEO of Soda Stream; and Miri Eisin, former media advisor to the Prime Minister.
On the final day, participants will engage in a wide range of Jewish learning programs across the city, and will then visit Jewish Federation-supported projects addressing Israel’s most pressing social problems. Finally, participants will walk from Jerusalem’s city hall to the Kotel, and on to Davidson Center in a dramatic celebration of Jewish unity and Jerusalem’s centrality for the Jewish people.
